Dear Team Members,

As we reflect on the past year, and look to the future, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for never wavering from your focus on our patients.

By keeping our patients and families first across the continuum of care, we breathe life into our mission, so that it becomes more than mere words on the page- it becomes the embodiment of the spirit and substance of our daily work in all areas of our Medical Center.

We can all take pride in our accomplishments, from our outstanding Joint Commission disease specific certifications to the national recognition we continue to receive as evidenced by our numerous awards. These and many other achievements contribute to our reputation as one of the best medical centers nationally. We’ve strengthened dialogue around issues of mutual concern, recognizing that working collaboratively benefits us all. We’ve improved communications through town hall meetings, employee forums and rounds. We’ve expanded our staffing options, working together to accommodate increased patient volumes. We’ve made significant improvement in the perception of our patients in the care that we provide, as evidenced by the significant increase in our patient satisfaction scores.

As we continue to lead in our pursuit of excellence, I am confident that 2017 will be a year second to none.

Our achievements are many and therefore I have highlighted only a few.

Thank you!

Dianne Aroh, MS, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC
Executive Vice President
Chief Clinical and Patient Care Officer
